The mission was very simple; bring Mellow Mushroom’s eclectic offline culture online. Mellow is a state of mind, so the look and feel of the site as a whole would need to reflect the free spirit and history associated with the brand. And with each independently owned store having a distinctive motif, the design would need to represent the unique personalities of each. The new site would house both Mellow Mushroom brand content and mini-sites for each of it’s 145 stores, which would allow their owners the flexibility to customize their online presence.
