Ballistic cases, in partnership with the National Volunteer Fire Council, launched a “Thanks a Million” campaign to donate up to one million dollars worth of HexTec™ engineered smartphone cases to volunteer firefighters across the country.

You could say “Thanks a Million” by nominating a local volunteer firefighter or their station, sharing your story, or by simply leaving a thank you message.

The objective was to show volunteer firefighters as ordinary everyday people with a need to have protection for their devices.  The idea was to feature real people, who are volunteer firefighters in an intriguing portrait with words and illustrations surrounding the individual, describing who they were.

We wanted to make sure we had real people featured for the campaign. The good folks at the Union County Fire Department in Blairsville, GA, allowed us to set up our photo shoot at their station.
